Leadership

Koji Azuma - CEO

In 1995, when he was working at an advertising firm, he first met Willie Banks, who then served as the director of Atlanta Olympic Village. He was impressed by Willie's sports philosophy and his profound knowledge of the sportin world in Japan, and later they became copartners.

In January 1999, he established the Japanese branch of H.S.J., Incorporated with Willie Banks. He served as Vice President & COO of the company, mainly engaged in sports marketing, conssulting and import/export business.
In March 2023, he Established HSJ Corporation in Japan.

Willie Banks - Senior Adviser

Willie currently serves his second term as a World Athletics Council Member (2019-). The Past President of the US Olympians and Paralympians Association. He sat on the Board of Directors for USA Track and Field for 6 years.
Former triple jump world record holder. Inducted into the U.S. Track and Field Hall of Fame in 1999. Former USATF Alumni President and past chairman of the USATF Athletes Advisory Committee.
Since 1986 he has served as the President and CEO of H.S.J., Incorporated, being engaged in sports, marketing, and business consulting, holding lectures, seminars and sports clinics, and assisting in trade between Japan and the United States. In March 2023, he has taken office as an advisor to HSJ Corporation.
